The Truth is One. The Wise, know it by many names.

There is but one reality, all manifestations are expressions of the same undifferentiated unity. So it said. What experience does this exalted declaration point to? Can it be experienced at all?

This blog is a space to express my thoughts and views about the incomprehensibly vast realm of that which is ultimately inexpressible, but palpably real.

The easiest medium to do so, is through written language. English is the most practical channel, and one I’m most familiar with.

If you are looking for proof of authority, or expertise, or a certification, it won’t be forthcoming. This isn’t about the author. I do not claim to be a knower, an expert. Approach this material, as I would – with an open, yet vigilant mind.

If you are reading this blog expecting to find answers and resolutions, then you might be disappointed. The answers to your questions, are yours to find. Questions, you may find here aplenty.

You may find trails of aqua, that point towards an oasis in this nebulous desert that we call daily existence. Does that mean I’ve found it? No, dummy. All I know is that it exists.

Practically speaking, you will find articles that discuss topics primarily related to spirituality and metaphysics. You may find musings of a self-proclaimed ‘seeker’. And a recovering cynic and nihilist, and a lover of music and art.

You will find ideas that have already been expressed before, perhaps packaged differently. Sometimes, that’s all it takes. While I don’t fully believe that there is no such thing as an ‘original thought’ in this domain – I also believe that all that has to be said, has already been said. There is nothing to say, as such. And yet, there is everything to say. Both are true.

Many ideas expressed in the articles, have been collecting dust in the archives of my mind for years. I first started this blog in 2022, but never had the confidence to publish my thoughts on the internet. Articles such as Why You Should Post More Online and various others of its ilk finally beckoned me back to it.

On that note, it is unavoidable to address the use of AI. Specifically, LLMs, which did not exist in 2022 as they do today. ChatGPT was only publicly available in November of that year. Today it is possible for a single person to run multiple autonomous blog sites that churn out articles on any domain, and make them sound human enough. Discerning readers who have spent enough time reading through LLM outputs, may be able to sniff out writing that was a blatant copy-paste from say, Claude. It becomes difficult though when the writing is a blend of LLMs and human input.

My intention with this blog is to write my own content, myself – not because I’m a closeted luddite that dislikes AI and LLMs. I use them for my day job. But because I consider it inauthentic and hypocritical, given the context. Don’t get me wrong – I’ve had many a discussion with a relatively intelligent co-worker about how our own minds are not that different from LLMs. However, In pre-LLM era world wide web, when you read a blog post, you knew that the words you were reading were linguistic expressions of the inner-world of some bloke or gal, somewhere.

Most of us today would view material such as this with the same contextual lens, expecting authentic human input as a given. More so, given the subject matter of this blog. My goal here is not to sell you anything – the only transaction here is with the currency of your time and attention – which you are free to direct elsewhere. Hopefully to a constructive end.

That was a long drawn out way of saying that I do not use LLMs, nor plan to use them to generate written material in the future for this site. The content in this blog is not, and will not be created by deliberations of statistical models and transformers.

If the material on this blog sparked a movement in your mind, then it has done its job. You are invited to share your views, to agree, and disagree. This blog is my attempt to dissolve my own echo-chamber. Which is the ultimate goal anyway – to dissolve the barrier, between that which is limited, and that which is unlimited.

Consider this my offering.
A wave on the endless ocean.
